I'm a student - do I qualify for this offer?

Students that attend a Title IV, degree-granting college/university as well as select US High School attendees aged 16+ in the United States are qualified for this offer.

I was asked to upload a document. What type of documentation is required?

Please upload a document that clearly shows you're currently enrolled in a Title IV, degree-granting US college/university or High School. The document needs to include:

  • Your first name
  • Your last name
  • University/ High School name
  • An issue date from the current academic term or within the last 3 months

You can upload more than one document, if needed. These can include an Official Enrollment Letter from your academic institution (acceptance letters will not be approved), class schedule for the current academic term, registration or tuition receipt, transcript that shows classes currently in progress, or any other school issued document that displays your first/last name, school name, and an issue date from the current term or within the last three months.

We strongly suggest covering up or redacting all sensitive information on documentation before uploading it into our system.

I just uploaded a document. When will I hear back with results of my request?

Documents are reviewed in the order received. You'll receive an email from verify@sheerid.com with the results of the request as soon so as we've reviewed your document. If you don't see this email after a few days, please check your junk/spam folder for the message.

I have questions regarding billing or my account. Can you help me?

SheerID does not have visibility into your TIDAL account or billing. For these requests, please contact the TIDAL team at https://support.tidal.com/hc/en-us.

My document upload link is no longer working. What happened?

The link sent to you for document upload is inactivated after seven (7) days, for your security. Please go back to the verification page and sign up again.

Who is SheerID?

SheerID is a third-party verification service that works on behalf of companies to verify an individual's affiliation.

Why do I have to go through a verification process?

You are submitting a request for an exclusive offer. To ensure only those people who fall under the required conditions are able to obtain this special offer, we ask you to participate in a quick verification process.

What do you do with my information? How do I know you won't sell or share it?

Your security is of the utmost importance to us. We never rent or sell your information. We use the information you provide to verify that you qualify for an offer and we share it with our partner, TIDAL.

What happens if I can't prove my student status?

This rarely happens. We require valid documentation through your organization or affiliation. Check with your organization if you are unable to find the required documentation. On the occasion you cannot provide us any acceptable proof of validation, we will not be able to allow you to continue to the offer.

I don't want to verify online. Can I talk to a real person?

Currently, this offer is only being verified via our online verification service. Our safe and secure process is the fastest way to complete your verification and successfully access your offer.
