  • Who is eligible for this offer?

  • This offer is available to all students currently enrolled at a degree-granting college or university of higher education. Eligibility may be limited to students in only certain countries - those eligible countries are shown in the dropdown on the verification form.

  • How do I get verified?

  • SheerID will collect some basic personal information to confirm your eligibility for the offer. We may also ask you to upload some documentation that substantiates your status and eligiblity.

    To ensure a speedy and successful verification, please pay attention to how you enter your information on the form so that it will match what is seen on the document(s). For example, enter your first and last name on the form as it appears on your school document(s).

  • What kind of document(s) do I upload if asked?

  • You'll need to upload school-issued documentation that shows your

    • First name
    • Last name
    • School name
    • Date showing current enrollment

    Please note that we will be reviewing the date of enrollment, not the print date or view date of your document(s). For example, your transcript may have been printed yesterday, but it shows that your most recent enrollment in classes was a previous term. Future terms are also not eligible, so acceptance letters unfortunately are not proof you are currently enrolled.

  • I just uploaded a document. When will I hear back with results of my request?

  • You will be contacted via email with either news you've been successfully verified or a request for additional information. Documents are reviewed in the order received and can take a while during busy times. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not see an email in your inbox. If you have not heard from SheerID within 72 hours, please contact us.

  • My school isn't on the list. What do I do?

  • If your school isn't on the list then you are not eligible for the offer at this time. To make sure you're not missing your school in the list, please type out the full name of your school.

  • What happens if I can't prove I'm a student?

  • This is extremely rare. Academic institutions provide multiple forms of official documentation that we can accept, but in the event you cannot provide us any acceptable proof of current enrollment, we will be unable to approve you for the offer. But to repeat, if you're in school, you should have access to a document we can verify.

  • How do I know you won't sell or share my ID and information?

  • This is something we take very seriously. We only use someone's information to confirm their eligibility. We do not rent their information. We do not sell their information. We do not store documents or images uploaded to our system. Click here to read our full privacy policy.
